About
Focus Gate blocks distracting sites with a list that stays in this browser. Chrome://, the Web Store, and other restricted pages are skipped. Free tools stay in this browser — no ExtHub account.
Turn This site on to add the current host, or Pause all to lift every gate. Add a domain by hostname (labels, strip www, require a dot). A local block list (click a host to remove) and an action log (host and tool name — not page HTML, not full page URLs). Up to 12 blocked hosts and 20 log rows locally. The interstitial is a local block page; Esc is not a bypass.
Pro syncs the block list, allow exceptions, focus hours prefs, and the action log to ExtHub (hosts and prefs only — not page HTML). Allow exceptions never blocked even when a parent domain is listed, focus hours (local clock, wrap midnight), a 5/15 min break for the current host (stored only in this browser), JSON export/import, and higher caps (50 blocks / 40 allow / 80 log rows). Search and CSV/JSON export are on the ExtHub My data page. Unsigned installs still send a compact connectivity ping.
