Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-08-20
This Privacy Policy explains how ExtHub (“ExtHub”, “we”, “us”) processes personal data when you use the ExtHub website, create an account, or buy a Pro subscription for a listed browser extension.
Who we are
ExtHub is operated by ExtHub. Contact: mayzervan9@gmail.com. Address / country: Ukraine, Ukraine.
Browser extensions listed on ExtHub are primarily local-first tools. Core features such as a local reader, volume boost, or page-tech scan run in your browser on the page you have open. ExtHub’s website handles accounts, catalog pages, Pro billing, and — when you use a Pro-synced product such as Loud Boost, Calm Read, or Stack Scout — the site data you choose to save (see “Pro data from listed extensions”).
Data we collect
Account data: name, email address, password hash, email verification status, and optional pending email-change tokens.
Billing data: subscription records (extension, plan, status, start/end dates, cancellation timestamps), payment references, amounts in USD and UAH, payment provider status, and webhook metadata needed to confirm payment.
Product-interest activity: pages and extension landings opened on ExtHub (signed-in accounts and anonymous visits, counted separately), catalog filters/search terms, and billing actions such as starting checkout or canceling a subscription. Anonymous visits are stored with a hashed session identifier, not your name or email. For those visits we may also store the referring website host, optional campaign (UTM) tags, approximate country, browser/device class, IP address, and whether the client looks like a crawler — so we can tell people from bots. We do not scrape the body of third-party web pages through extensions.
Extension connectivity (signed-in and unsigned installs): listed extensions periodically ping ExtHub while they are running, including when you are not signed in. We store a local install identifier, which extension it is, optional client version, and last-seen time, plus a compact hourly count of those pings. Signed-in pings may also be linked to your account. Those pings do not include page contents, URLs, or HTML from other websites.
Technical data: session cookies, CSRF tokens, IP address and user-agent as processed by our hosting stack and server logs for security and abuse prevention.
We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising trackers on ExtHub for cross-site ads.
Pro data from listed extensions
Some listed extensions can optionally sign you into ExtHub and, with an active Pro subscription, sync product data you save. Loud Boost Pro stores per-site volume profiles. Calm Read Pro stores per-site reader look (theme, size, typeface, progress) plus optional page notes: one short note per article URL; several notes can belong to the same website. Empty notes are not stored. Stack Scout Pro stores saved scan reports: website hostname, optional truncated tab title, and the list of technologies found (names, short evidence notes, confidence). Page HTML is not uploaded. Threads Quick Block Pro stores a log of Threads usernames you chose to block (not post text or your Threads password). Tab Ledger Pro stores saved tab sessions (page titles and http(s) URLs you chose to save, not page HTML). Style Probe Pro stores copied CSS snippets (selectors, computed CSS, and the page hostname — not page HTML). Page Mosaic Pro stores capture settings you chose to save (mode, format, quality, scale, delay, hide sticky, filename pattern, pixel size, timestamps — not page URLs, screenshot pixels, or page HTML). Page Tailor Pro stores site looks you chose to save (website hostname, custom CSS, hidden-element selectors, look recipes, optional notes, timestamps — not page HTML). Link Rinse Pro stores site rinse recipes you chose to save (website hostname, presets, optional extra param names, rinse log of host/path and stripped counts — not tracking query strings or page HTML). Playback Deck Pro stores site playback recipes you chose to save (website hostname, speed, loop, overlay-bar preference, speed log of host and rate — not video URLs or media bytes). Data Harvester Pro stores site harvest recipes you chose to save (website hostname, presets, optional extra CSS selector, harvest log of host and item counts — not harvested text, emails, hrefs, or page HTML). Dawn Board Pro stores the new-tab board you chose to save (theme, clock format, search engine, greeting name, quick-link labels and http(s) URLs, today’s focus, notes, dated tasks, and the action log). Night Lens Pro stores site tints you chose to save (website hostname, brightness, contrast, warmth, keep-photos, look recipe, optional notes, timestamps — not page HTML). QuickType Pro stores text snippets you chose to save (shortcut, replacement text, optional label, timestamps) plus an expansion log of hostname and shortcut — not page HTML or other typed page text.
That sync payload typically includes: website hostname, optional tab title (truncated), product settings you save (for example volume, reader look, a scan report, a block log, saved tab sessions, copied CSS snippets, capture settings, site looks, rinse recipes, playback speed recipes, harvest recipes, a new-tab board recipe, site tints, or text snippets), optional page URLs/titles/notes, and timestamps. It does not include page HTML, screenshot image bytes, cookies of other sites, passwords, or the audio/video media itself. Boost, reader, page-scan, Threads block clicks, tab restore, CSS inspect/copy, page capture, page tailoring, link rinsing, playback speed, page harvest, the new-tab board, page tinting, and text expansion stay in the browser.
The extension also stores an ExtHub session token and a short local cache of recent site profiles on your device (chrome.storage.local). Free features work without an account and without sending site profiles. Unsigned installs still send a compact connectivity ping (install identifier, which extension, optional version — not page HTML).
You can review, search, and export saved Pro records from your ExtHub “My data” page while Pro is active, and you can request deletion via mayzervan9@gmail.com.
Why we process data (purposes & legal bases)
Provide the service and account (contract): registration, login, email verification, profile updates, subscription status for Pro unlocks.
Pro product sync (contract): store the settings you save in a listed extension (for example volume profiles, reader look, a scan report, a block log, saved tab sessions, copied CSS snippets, capture settings, site looks, rinse recipes, playback speed recipes, harvest recipes, a new-tab board, site tints, or text snippets) so they can be restored and exported.
Payments (contract / legal obligation): create invoices via the payment provider (for example Monobank acquiring), reconcile webhooks, keep payment records required by tax and accounting rules.
Product analytics & offers (legitimate interests): measure which ExtHub pages and extensions people visit (signed-in and anonymous, stored separately), and which listed-extension installs are currently running (signed-in and unsigned connectivity pings), so we can improve the catalog and eventually send relevant subscription offers. You can object by contacting mayzervan9@gmail.com.
Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests / legal obligation): session integrity, abuse detection, audit of billing events.
Support (contract / legitimate interests): respond to requests sent to mayzervan9@gmail.com.
Legal compliance: respond to lawful requests and defend claims where required.
Payment providers
Card and acquiring payments are processed by our payment provider. ExtHub does not store full card numbers on its servers. The provider may process payment data under its own privacy terms.
Prices are shown in USD. Depending on the acquiring setup, the charge may be converted to UAH (or another settlement currency) using a rate configured for checkout.
Sharing
We share data only with processors needed to run ExtHub: hosting, email delivery, and the payment provider. Pro-synced site profiles stay in your ExtHub account for that product; we do not sell them or use them for advertising.
We may disclose data if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
Retention
Account data is kept while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward if needed for disputes or legal duties.
Billing and invoice-related records are retained for the period required by applicable accounting and tax rules.
Site activity logs (signed-in page/extension interest and anonymous hashed-session visits) are retained for a limited period (typically up to one year) and then deleted or aggregated.
Compact extension connectivity records (hourly ping buckets and last-seen heartbeats) are retained for a shorter operational window (typically up to 90 days).
Pro-synced extension records (for example Loud Boost site profiles or Stack Scout scan reports) are kept while the account exists or until you delete them / we process a deletion request, unless a longer legal retention applies to related billing records.
Server logs are kept for a limited operational window unless a security investigation requires longer retention.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal data, and to object to certain processing (including interest analytics / offers). Contact mayzervan9@gmail.com to exercise these rights.
You may withdraw consent where processing is consent-based. Marketing emails, if we introduce them, will include an unsubscribe option.
You may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country of residence.
Children
ExtHub accounts and paid subscriptions are intended for users who can enter a binding contract in their jurisdiction. Do not register if you are below the applicable age.
International transfers
Infrastructure or processors may be located outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by providers or applicable transfer mechanisms.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date above will change when we do. Continued use of ExtHub after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
